WhatsApp launches a major change that makes it much faster to find chats
Whether it's a friend's address or the name of a restaurant, there are often times you want to quickly search through your WhatsApp messages.
If you're sick of frantically scrolling back through hundreds of old messages, there's some good news.
WhatsApp has launched a major update, in the hopes of making it easier to find specific chats.
The messaging app has introduced three new Chat Filters, which allow you to find messages without having to scroll through your full inbox.

AdvertisementWhatsApp announced the new Chat Filters feature in a blog post this week.
'Opening WhatsApp and finding the right conversation should feel quick, seamless, and simple,' it explained.
'As people increasingly do more on WhatsApp, it's more important than ever before to be able to get to your messages fast.
'That's why today we're launching new Chat Filters so you can do that without having to scroll through your full inbox.'
Users can choose between three filters, which will appear at the top of the chat list - All, Unread, and Groups.
As you might have guessed, selecting All will let you search through all messages, while Unread will limit the search to messages you're yet to open.
Whether it's a friend's address or the name of a restaurant, there are often times you want to quickly search through your WhatsApp messages
Meanwhile, Groups, will limit the search to your group chats.
'We believe filters will make it easier for people to stay organized and find their most important conversations and help navigate through messages more efficiently,' WhatsApp added.
'We'll continue to build more options to help you focus on what matters most.'
Chat Filters have now started to roll out to users, and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
